This is our first edition. We are highlighting the key updates from February 2026, while also looking back at a few important projects from 2025 that had a real impact on the way we work. From now on, each edition will focus on the month in question, with a clear and direct summary of what we have been building, testing and learning.

Banner Generator by WD app

AUTOMATION BANNERS IMAGES
Banner Generator by WD app
PROBLEM
150 banner requests per week × 7 formats each (~1,000 weekly variations) in a largely manual, repetitive, and time-consuming process that constrained team capacity and scalability.
SOLUTION
Creation of the Banner Generator app: an end-to-end automation process starting from the SKU, including automatic image fetching, background removal, consistent shadow application, and generation of all required formats. What used to involve multiple manual steps was transformed into a single, controlled and scalable workflow. The solution was shaped collaboratively by the team, designed by Inês, and technically implemented by Nuno, who brought it to life and ensured its robustness and reliability.
IMPACT
-65% in time per request
Wizard Services Pages Creator

AUTOMATION CMS NO-CODE
Wizard Services Pages Creator
PROBLEM
Service pages were still being built through repetitive copy/paste of RAW modules. This slowed delivery, increased rework, and led to small but frequent mistakes — from spacing inconsistencies to broken GA links. It also kept the team stuck in assembly work instead of higher-value tasks.
SOLUTION
We built a guided page builder that takes users from template selection to clean HTML export in a simple, structured flow. Modules are auto-sorted, content is filled in a compact editor with live preview, and the output is clean, ready-to-use HTML. Non-technical users can now build and edit pages without touching
IMPACT
-50% time to build a full service page
Less rework, fewer errors, and more time for the team to focus on what actually moves the needle.
SKU Image Generator & Category Link Builder

AUTOMATION INTERNAL TOOL OPERATIONS
SKU Image Generator & Category Link Builder
Problem
Preparing product images for category links used to be a repetitive manual task. Each SKU had to be searched, downloaded, edited, and exported individually. When working with multiple products, this process quickly became slow, fragmented across tools, and prone to small errors.
Solution
We built a SKU Image Generator, a web tool that automates the creation of category link assets directly from a list of SKUs. The tool fetches product images automatically, allows quick adjustments in the browser, and generates ready-to-export assets in a single workflow.
Impact
Tasks that previously required multiple manual steps can now be completed in seconds. The tool enables batch processing of SKUs, reduces repetitive work, and ensures more consistent outputs when preparing assets for campaigns and pages.
Air Conditioner Buying Simulator

Automation Guided Selling CRO
Air Conditioner Buying Simulator
Problem
Buying an air conditioner online can be overwhelming. Too many specs, too many models, and small mistakes can easily lead to frustration or the wrong purchase. Internally, this also created repeated questions and inconsistent guidance.
Solution
We built a simple, step-by-step Air Conditioner Buying Simulator that translates a few intuitive questions into clear, structured recommendations. Designed with Content and Tiago Emanuel’s team, the experience is fast, mobile-first, and easy to evolve over time.
Impact
A smoother, more confident buying journey — with fewer doubts, fewer wrong fits, and better alignment between customer needs and product selection.

Team Activity
KNOW MORE +
Team Activity
February was a month of strong activity across campaigns and platform initiatives. The team handled 732 tasks, with 563 owned and 169 assisted, maintaining a 77% ownership rate while supporting multiple teams. Despite the volume, delivery remained steady with an average cycle time of 10.1 days and 187 tasks currently in progress.
01
Speed without context is noise

Automating faster does not mean automating better.

02
The best model is not always the most useful

Clarity of the problem beats technical complexity.

03
Imperfect data is better than no data

Measurement enables decisions, even with limitations.

04
Adoption is design, not training

If it needs explanation, it needs simplification.

🧠
UNDER TESTING
Intent-Driven Finder

We will soon launch an intent-driven Finder, designed around a key insight: users usually search by problem, not by service name. Instead of relying on exact service terms, the Finder allows users to describe their issue in their own words. The system interprets the underlying intent and surfaces the most relevant services. The goal is to reduce friction and help customers move faster from problem to solution.

Apple CTO Configurator

We are preparing an Apple CTO configurator that will allow customers to explore a much wider range of Mac configurations directly on the site. Instead of being limited to stock models, the system maps the full set of possible Apple configurations, allowing us to capture orders even for setups not physically available.
