by WEB DESIGN TEAM

This edition marks the starting point of The Pixel Insider. Instead of focusing on a single month, we are looking back at a few key projects that helped shape how the team has been evolving recently. Future editions will follow a monthly rhythm, sharing what we are building, testing and learning as it happens.

Credit Simulator Optimization
Problem
The credit simulator used across product pages depends on values such as TAN and TAEG that are periodically updated following Bank of Portugal guidelines. Previously, updating these values required changes across multiple highlights and configurations, making the process repetitive and prone to errors.
Solution
We restructured the simulator logic so that key credit parameters are now managed from a centralized configuration. When new TAN or TAEG values are released, they can be updated in a single place and automatically propagate across all credit modalities and interfaces.
Impact
-80% update time for credit rates
Regulatory updates that previously required multiple manual adjustments can now be handled quickly and safely, reducing maintenance effort while ensuring consistent credit information across the site.

Guided Spare Parts Finder
Problem
Finding compatible spare parts on the site was often difficult. Customers needed to know exactly which part to search for, and compatibility between equipment, brands and models was not always clear.
Solution
We built a guided Spare Parts Finder that helps customers identify compatible parts step by step. By selecting equipment, brand, model and part type, the system dynamically filters results and ensures only valid combinations are shown before allowing users to explore the available products.
Impact
Customers can now reach the right replacement parts faster and with more confidence, making spare parts easier to discover and purchase on the site.
